ABSTRACT

Objective:To investigate the effects of Tongxinluo capsule on the improvement of cardiac function and the expression of myocardial enzyme spectrum in patients with coronary heart disease after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).Methods:One hundred patients with coronary heart disease after PCI who received treatment in Hebei Xianghe County People′s Hospitalfrom April 2018 to April 2020 were enrolled and randomly divided into the observation group and the control group. The control group was given conventional treatment, while the observation group was treated with Tongxinluo capsule on the basis of the control group. Patients in both groups were treated for 3 months. The normal clinical remission after treatment was observed in the two groups. The improvement of cardiac function index left ventricular end-diastolic volume (LVEDV), left ventricular end-systolic volume (LVESV), left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) and myocardial enzyme index aspartate aminotransferase (AST), creatine kinase (CK), creatine kinase isoenzyme - MB (CK - MB), lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), troponin T (TnT) were compared between the two groups before and after the treatment.Results:After treated for 3 months, the total effective rate in the observation group was higher than that in the control group: 92.0%(46/50) vs. 76.0%(38/50), the difference was statistically significant ( χ2 = 4.76, P<0.05). After treated for 3 months, the levels of LVEDV and LVESV in two groups were decreased, and the level of LVEF in two groups was increased, and the levels of LVEDV and LVESV in the observation group were lower than those in the control group: (153.39 ± 8.35) ml/m 2 vs. (155.57 ± 9.32) ml/m 2, (103.49 ± 9.25) ml/m 2 vs. (109.65 ± 10.46) ml/m 2; the levels of LVEF in the observation group was higher than that in the control group: (58.14 ± 7.41)% vs. (54.59 ± 6.92)%, the differences were statistically significant ( P<0.05). After treated for 3 months, the levels of AST, CK, CK-MB, LDH, TnT in two groups were decreased, and the levels of above index in the observation group were lower than those in the control group: (38.14 ± 7.28) U/L vs. (45.04 ± 8.12) U/L, (637.15 ± 75.25) U/L vs. (756.24 ± 85.24) U/L, (553.28 ± 53.14) U/L vs. (632.17 ± 62.81) U/L, (162.43 ± 15.41) U/L vs. (181.74 ± 19.25) U/L, (0.32 ± 0.15) μg/L vs. (0.39 ± 0.11) μg/L, the differences were statistically significant ( P<0.05). Conclusions:The application of Tongxinluo capsule in patients with coronary heart disease after PCI can effectively alleviate clinical symptoms, improve cardiac function, and regulate the enzyme activity of the body.

ABSTRACT

Objective:To explore the application value of creatinine correction method in estimating 24 h urinary iodine excretion of healthy adults.Methods:Healthy adults(half males and half females) aged 18 to 59 yesrs old in Tangshan City were selected as the research subjects. Random urine within 1 d, morning urine and 24 h urine samples of 5 d in a row of all subjects were collected to detect urinary iodine and creatinine concentrations. Twenty-four hours urinary iodine excretion was estimated by creatinine correction formula [24 h urinary iodine excretion estimated value(μg/d) = urinary iodine/creatinine concentration ratio (μg/g Cr) × 24 h urinary creatinine excretion (g Cr/d)]. The estimated value of 24 h urinary iodine excretion obtained from random urine within 1 d and continuous 5 d morning urine corrected by creatinine were studied by the coefficient of variation, and compared with the measured value of 24 h urinary iodine excretion.Results:The coefficient of variation of the estimated 24 h urinary iodine excretion of random urine within 1 d ranged from 8.8% - 20.2%, with an average value of 13.1%; the coefficient of variation of 24 h urinary iodine excretion estimated value from continuous 5 d morning urine and the 24 h urinary iodine excretion measured value ranged from 4.7% - 17.2% and 4.0% - 10.4%, and the average values were 10.1% and 6.4%, respectively. In the detection of random urine within 1 d, there was no significant difference between the 24 h urinary iodine excretion estimated value of the first, second, third, and forth time random urine and the 24 h urinary iodine excretion measured value ( P > 0.05). In the detection of continuous 5 d morning urine, there were no significant differences in the 24 h urinary iodine excretion estimated value of the first, second, third, forth and fifth day compared with the 24 h urinary iodine excretion measured value on the same day, respectively ( P > 0.05). Conclusions:When the daily creatinine excretion is accurately known, the estimated 24 h urine iodine excretion obtained by the creatinine correction method can better reflect the actual 24 h urinary iodine excretion. Further study on prediction criteria of creatinine excretion suitable for Chinese people will help to better detect the iodine intake of corresponding individuals.

ABSTRACT

Objective To verify the application value of urinary iodine creatinine ratio in urinary iodine examination under different ways of collecting urine samples.Methods Totally 20 healthy adults were recruited and the urine samples were collected as each time random urine within 1 day,the 24 hour urine and morning urine within 5 successive days,respectively.Urinary iodine concentration and creatinine concentration in all urine specimens were determined.The coefficient of variation of urine iodine creatinine concentration ratio in each group was calculated.Paired t test was used to compare the urine iodine creatinine concentration ratio of 24 hour urine with the urine iodine creatinine concentration ratio of random urine and that of morning urine,respectively.Results The coefficient of variation of urinary iodine concentration values of random urine,morning urine and 24 hour urine samples within 1 d were 12.5%-57.4%,5.4%-26.0%,3.4%-16.6%,respectively,and the corresponding coefficient of variation of urinary iodine concentration The main distribution is around 30%,12%,and 8%.The coefficients of variation for random urine iodine creatinine concentration ratio within one day were 11.6%-36.1%,while most of the coefficients of variation were around 23%.In contrast,the coefficients of variation of morning urine and 24 hour urine within 5 days were 3.9%-16.8% and 4.3%-12.7% and most of them were at about 10% and 7%.The difference of urinary iodine/creatinine concentration ratio between random urine,morning urine and 24 h urine sample was statistically significant (F =4.002,P < 0.05).And the urine iodine creatinine concentration ratio of random urine were significantly different compared with that of 24 hour urine (P < 0.05).On the other hand,there was also significant difference for the urine iodine creatinine concentration ratio of morning urine compared with that of 24 hour urine (P < 0.05).Conclusions After adjusted with urinary iodine creatinine concentration ratio,the effect of urine concentration and dilution on urinary iodine concentration has reduced.The significance of two kinds of urine retention methods for random urine and morning urine in urine iodine detection is enhanced.But it's still not good enough to replace 24 hour urine.

Objective By studying the variation of individual urinary iodine concentration due to different ways of urine sample collection to optimize it for standard clinical evaluation.Methods Totally 20 healthy adults were recruited and their urine samples were collected as a random urine sample within 1 day,the 24 hour urine and morning urine samples within 5 successive days,respectively.The coefficient of variation in each group was calculated.Paired t test was used to compare the results of 24 hour urine with the results of random urine and that of morning urine samples,respectively.Results The range of individual coefficient of variation for random urine sample within one day was 12.5%-57.4%,while most of the coefficients of variation were around 30.39%.In contrast,the individual coefficients of variation of morning urine sample and 24 hour urine results within 5 days were 5.4%-26.0% and 3.4%-16.6% and most of them were at about 11.74% and 7.91%.The paired t test showed that the results of random urine sample were significantly different compared with that of 24 hour urine (t =-4.231,P < 0.05).On the other hand,there was also significant difference for the results of morning urine compared with that of 24 hour urine (t =3.884,P < 0.05).Conclusion This study suggests that 24 hour urine is the most appropriate way of sample collection for individualized detection of urinary iodine.

ABSTRACT

Objective To observe the effects of dehydrocorydaline (DHC) on proliferation and collagen secretion of cardiac fibroblasts (CFs) cultured by high glucose;To provide experimental evidence for clinical application of Rhizoma Corydalis. Methods CFs cultured in vitro with high glucose were made into models. Collagenase and trypsin were used for the combine digestion of CFs from ratsbornin 24 h. 2-4 generation CFs were cultured by high glucose (25 mmol/L), and then 100, 50, 25 mg/L dethydrocorydaline was added for intervention. Cellular morphology of CFs was observed after 24, 48 h. CFs proliferation was detected by MTT method. Cell cycle was assessed via flow cytometry. The levels of collagen Ⅰ and collagen Ⅲ were determined by ELISA. Results CFs began to grow adherence 3 hours after planting, and CFs cultured by high glucose significantly proliferated 24, 48 h later (P<0.05, P<0.01). The percentage of S+G2+M phase CFs increased significantly after 48 h (P<0.01). The secretion of collagen Ⅰ and collagen Ⅲ also increased significantly (P<0.01). After the intervention of DHC, CFs proliferation was significantly inhibited (P<0.01);the percentage of S+G2+M phase CFs decreased (P<0.01);the secretion of collagen Ⅰ and collagen Ⅲ was reduced (P<0.05, P<0.01). Conclusion DHC can reduce CFs proliferation, decrease collagen secretion of CFs cultured by high glucose, and has potential effects of anti-myocardial fibrosis.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the skin basic conditions of normal female consumers for cosmetics who use a cream of lower than RMB 25 yuan in markets in Chengdu area.Methods Female subjects aged 25 to 45 years were recruited in Chengdu and divided into four age groups.Parameters were noninvasively tested to investigate skin baseline conditions of the two groups,including skin moisturization,trans-epidermal water loss (TEWL),color,texture and pH etc.Meanwhile,subjective scores were acquired by experienced dermatologists and self-questionnaires were collected to investigate subjects' concerns.Results Skin texture,softness,and skin color were found significantly different between age groups.The top 3 skin problems were dryness,skin color and wrinkles; the top 3 ideal skin were moisture,shining and fairness.Conclusions With similar environment and skin care habits,35-year-old is a turning point for females of decreased metabolism in the skin,as seen from skin color,elasticity,and roughness.

ABSTRACT

<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>To investigate the inhibition effect of Salvia chinensis extraction (SJC) on growth of H22 bearing tumor, and to analyze the mechanism about the anti-tumor effect.</p><p><b>METHOD</b>With hepatoma H22 bearing mice, ICR mice were inoculated with H22 cells by subcutaneous injection. On day 2 after inoculation, the ICR mice were randomize into 5 groups, they were the control group, the high, middle, low dosages of SJC, and the positive-control group. Administrated 10 days, the inhibition rate of tumor in the treatment groups were analyzed at 11th day. Meanwhile, Immunostaining with antibodies against CD105 and VEGF were used to investigate the tumor-related angiogenesis. In addition, the effect of SJC on angiogenesis of tumor were investigated on chick embry chorioallantoic membrane (CAM) inoculated H22 cells.</p><p><b>RESULT</b>In contrast to model group, the inhibition rate of the high, middle, and low dosages of SJC were 26.44% (P < 0.05), 42.28% (P < 0.01) and 32.59% (P < 0.05), respectively, and SJC could significantly reduced the express of VEGF and microvessel density (MVD) (P < 0.01). Injection with 6.25 g x L(-1) doses of SJC could significantly inhibited the angiogenesis of tumor, the inhibition rate of tumor-related angiogenesis was 50.67% (P < 0.01).</p><p><b>CONCLUSION</b>SJC showed anticancer effect, and maybe it is related to down-regulation VEGF and reducing MVD, then inhibiting the tumor-related angiogenesis.</p>

ABSTRACT

<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>To provide a new approach for studying the compatibility principle of traditional Chinese medicine formula (TCMF) by constructing compatibility network of phamarcologic action of TCMF according to the network theory.</p><p><b>METHOD</b>With Chinese herb as node and compatibility relationship of herb-herb as edge according to network theory, compatibility network of phamarcologic action of TCMF was constructed after the compatibility relationship of herb-herb was analysed by two-way analysis of variance (ANOVA)through phamarcology experiment. Then compatibility principle of TCMF was analysed with network efficiency (NE) and NE related parameters.</p><p><b>RESULT</b>The network approach was applied for studying compatibility principle of Jiawei Shengmai San on it's antimyocardial ischemia reperfusion injury action. The results indicated that rhizoma corydalis was the main herb in Jiawei Shengmai San, and in turn was radix ophiopogonois, radix salvia miltiorrhiza, radix ginseng and fructus schizandrae, radix ginseng and radix salvia was clustered first, and in turn was radix, Formule composed of ophiopogonois and fructus schizandrae. Formule composed of radix ginseng and radix salvia, and radix ophiopogonois and fructus schizandrae; radix ginseng, radix salvia miltiorrhiza and rhizoma corydalis was the most effective one among all the formulaes. These results were consistent with validation experiments.</p><p><b>CONCLUSION</b>Studying compatibility principle of TCMF by network theory is a new and feasible method.</p>

ABSTRACT

Objective To establish loop-mediated isothermal amplification(LAMP)method for detecting Streptococcus pneumoniae in clinical samples.Methods Four Streptococcus pneumoniae-specific LAMP primers were designed according to the published sequence of strain R6(GenBank accession number AE008540).Genomie DNA in positive blood cultures was extracted by nanidine hydrochloride and benzene-methanol.Then lytA was amplified by LAMP at 63℃ for 45 minutes.We observed the turbidity in thereaction tube.For further confirmation.The amplified products were also detected using electrophoresis in 2% agarose gels,followed by ethidium bromide staining.Resuits 16 strains of Streptococcus pneumoniae were detected in 196 positive blood cuhure bottles by LAMP.Compared with traditional method.It8 sensitivity and specificity were both 100%and the detection could be finished in an hour.The assay had a minimum detection limit of 102 CFU/m1.Conclusions This IJAMP-based assay is simple,rapid.Sensitive and specific.It can be used to detect trept OCOCCUS pneumoniae in clinical samples.
